SportsMan

Football analytics for K-12 coaches. From the sideline, not the spreadsheet.

Try It Right Here

A game already recorded, opened in the real application. Log a snap, scroll the play-by-play, or read the post-game report — nothing to install, no account needed.

SportsMan is a play-by-play tracker that runs on the device in your hand. Log each snap as it happens — down, distance, field position, who carried it, who made the tackle — and the app keeps the game state for you: possession, the chains, the score. Afterwards the same record reads back as a report, so film review starts from what happened rather than what everyone remembers.

There are no accounts and no network. Everything you record lives in one file on the device, and a backup is a single file you keep. For a product used on minors that is a deliberate constraint, not an omission: there is no server holding a roster of children.

Available Now What's Shipped

Live Play-by-Play Recording

Runs, passes, punts, kickoffs, field goals, PATs and penalties. The app carries down, distance, possession and field position between snaps, so you record what happened and it works out where the ball now is. Any play can be undone.

Jersey-Number Entry

Type a number. Your own roster resolves to a name; the other team's players never have to be added at all, so you can chart their offense too. Last quarterback and last receiver come pre-filled.

Both Sides of the Ball

Tackler and assists, TFLs, sacks, pressures and pass breakups ride on the snap they happened on. Because the opponent's offense is recorded too, yards allowed, takeaways and turnover margin fall out without a second pass.

Post-Game Report

Scoring by quarter, drive by drive, conversion rate by down, gains by yardage, field-zone splits, leaders and key plays — with passer ratings and red-zone rates computed, not tallied by hand.

Roster, Season & Playbook

Teams, players and a season's schedule in one place, plus your formations and play calls by unit — so tagging a play with the call it came from is one tap.

Your Data, One File

Back the whole database up to a single file and restore it on another device. No account to create, nothing to sync, nothing to cancel — and nothing leaves the device unless you move the file yourself.

In Development What's Next

  • Season, opponent and player reports The same reporting engine scoped to a whole season, to one opponent across the years, or to a single player's card.
  • Saving a report to share Write any report out as a file you can hand to a coordinator, a parent or an athlete — the sharing a local-only app can honestly offer.
  • Windows installer and an Android build Packaged releases so a coach installs it rather than builds it. Play Store closed testing is the long pole on Android.
